The DMU Future Student Team are looking for a Telemarketing Assistant to support delivery of our peer led telemarketing campaigns. This will involve managing data, training and supporting our student callers, adapting scripts to maximise impact, reporting on call outputs and supporting follow on actions.

You will part of a busy team, have the opportunity to work on wider customer facing platforms and work with our busy and dynamic Marketing Team.

This roles requires flexible working, including some out of hours and offers a hybrid package combining office and from home working.

Hours of Work: Ideal hours, would be as follow, but, adaptations, are absolutely possible for the ideal candidate:

Monday 9-5

Tuesday 12-8

Wednesday 12-8

Thursday 12-8

Friday 9-5

The role is available throughout May, June and July.

Start date is anticipated to be 01/05/2025

Duties and responsibilities

  • managing data
  • training and supporting our student callers
  • adapting scripts to maximise impact
  • reporting on call outputs and supporting follow on actions.

Skills and experience

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Experienced communicator, with strong telephone skills
  • Confident managing and analysing data
  • Positive time management and organisation skills
  • Flexible, team player
  • Able to work independently and with own initiative, supervising a team of student callers

The role, could very much suit, a graduating DMU student
