We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who can add something special to our Strategic Campaigns team to support Accommodation Marketing. You’ll support several teams and play an important role in marketing and communications for Warwick Accommodation. You’ll be creative and employ that creativity to write and produce marketing materials. You’ll negotiate between suppliers and administrate for Accommodation Marketing in support of a range of high-profile activities (both digital and some print).
It’s important that you can relate with our many audiences, whether they’re current students, staff or prospective students and their parents/supporters. That’s why you’ll have excellent interpersonal skills and great written and verbal communications abilities too. We work in a fast-paced environment within marketing, so you’ll also need to be experienced in juggling a varied workload and working in a busy team. If your experience comes from marketing, that’s even better.
This part-time, fixed-term Marketing Coordinator post is a support role within Accommodation Marketing and will sit within the Strategic Campaigns team of MCI (Marketing, Communication and Insight). An ideal opportunity for somebody looking to broaden their skills , exposure and experience within marketing.
Duties and responsibilities
Working closely with our Marketing Officer for Accommodation, duties would include:
- Supporting the delivery of marketing activities through the production of creative content, as part of the Accommodation Marketing annual strategic campaign plan
- Working collaboratively with sub-departments (including Creative Client Services, Estates) and external specialist agencies (e.g. designers, printers) to develop content in support of marketing objectives
- Preparing written briefs for projects before issuing them to internal departments and/or approved external agencies or suppliers
- Involvement at various stages of planned campaign activities, including but not limited to:
- Market Research and Insight
- Photography/videography
- Design and Print
- Paid Media Campaigns
- Content creation
- Providing administrative support for Accommodation Marketing, including tracking and monitoring performance of marketing and communications activities
Signposting or supporting colleagues to established processes within MCI, such as to brand, design, print and other creative services (likely from Estates, the Student Information Centre, Campus Cleaning Services and Accommodation teams).
