Role
Our prestigious client are looking for a Paraplanner to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting their Mentors by conducting in-depth research, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the smooth execution of client financial plans. This position offers a clear pathway for career growth, with opportunities to progress into a Senior Paraplanner or Mentor role.
The company is looking for a candidate with a strong interest in the financial aspects of the position.
This position is office based for 5 days a week.
Working days and hours are Monday-Friday. Monday-Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 3pm.
Duties and responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis to support financial planning recommendations.
- Prepare detailed member reports, suitability letters, and financial documents.
- Assist Mentors in developing financial plans tailored to client needs.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with product providers and clients to gather necessary information.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems.
Skills and experience
- Experience in a paraplanning role or similar financial services experience.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and apply financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with a strong desire to develop professionally.
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards it) is preferred.
