Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our client who are a family run business in Newcastle-under-Lyme. They design, develop and install air quality management systems which are based on air movement, cleanliness, energy saving and temperature control along with the effective use of environment extract and L.E.V equipment.

 
Working hours and days are Tuesday - Friday 8am - 4pm. You would be required to be in the office for this position.
 

Duties and responsibilities
About the role:
Assistance with administration and project co-ordination. Based within the accounts department, candidate will be required to assist with imputing of invoices & receipts and general administration roles such as booking accommodation & placing purchase orders. 

 
  • Client interfacing – telephone calls/emails.
  • Purchase order input.
  • Filing.
  • Booking accommodation.
  • Compiling of project/service folders.
  • Time sheet hour input.
  • Xero administration input.
  • Computer works – typing/scanning/printing etc. 

Skills and experience

Essential:

  • Critical thinking skills and good attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve and use initiative.
  • A flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liase with others.
  • A driven, self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Computer literacy.

Desirable:

  • Xero accounting software experience.
  • Previous work experience, ideally within a relevant field.
  • Previous customer services experience.
  • A full UK driving licence – office parking available.
