Role
*Ringfenced to LJMU students with a masters in a relevant field / working towards a PhD*

We are seeking a skilled and motivated research assistant to support a funded project within the School of Nursing and Advanced practice.This project will involve a scoping review of existing literature. The scoping review will  investigate the exposure of General Practice nurses to research and publishing and will aim to Investigate the barriers to research Engagement Among General Practice Nurses.

We are looking to appoint an research assistant with experience of scoping reviews to assist the research team in the review.

Duties and responsibilities
In collaboration with the research team, you will be responsible for

• Agreeing search terms
• Undertaking the search across all databases
• Reviewing the title, abstracts and full papers 
• Data extraction
• Risk of bias and quality appraisal
• Data summary
• Manuscript development

Skills and experience

  • Hold a Masters degree in a relevant field
  • Working towards a PhD in a relevant field
  • Experience of conducting a scoping review
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Familiarity with digital tools including Endnote and Rayyan
