Description
Role
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team working on why victims of serious sexual offences withdraw consent for investigation or prosecution after reporting. The project is a joint initiative between Social Sciences, Psychology and a partner Police force.
Duties and responsibilities
As a Research Assistant, you will be at the forefront of analysing administrative data for cohorts of sexual offence reports and disseminating this in an accessible format for non-academic and audiences to generate impact. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in analysis of administrative data of serious sexual offence cases.
- Collation of results into a variety of formats which help communicate key findings to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with the team and our stakeholders to help keep the project running smoothly.
- Uphold a strong commitment to the sensitive and appropriate use of language, recognizing its powerful impact.
- Draft results and publication sections.
