Unitemps are recruiting for a Centre Assistant, Centre for Biodiversity & Environment Research, Biosciences Division. This role is suitable for UCL Graduates Only. This is a full-time role at 36.5 hours per week. This role is for an April 1st start date and has a projected end date of August 1st 2025. Payment is set at £18.88 per hour + holiday pay (though could possibly be increased for the right candidate. This role will be UCL Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 day per week from the office.
The role provides dedicated executive support, undertaking a wide range of administration support and organisational activities within the Centre for Biodiversity and Environment Research (CBER) in the Research Department for Genetics Evolution & Environment (GEE) within the Division of Biosciences. The post holder willwork closely with the Centre Director, academic and research staff and GEE professional services teams, as well as other colleagues in the Division and across the Faculty of Life Sciences and beyond.
The post holder will take an active role as a member of a number of committees and working groups associated with the Centre, Research Department and widerDivision, providing administrative support (coordinating agenda, contacting attendees, booking rooms and refreshments, minute taking etc.) and occasional project work.

Duties and responsibilities
The post holder will provide a first point of contact for CBER and assist with day to day administration as well as play a role in coordinating activity, working to the Executive Assistant in GEE and with other Centre Assistants in the Department.
They will work in collaboration with the Divisional Managerand Centre Director to support the successful administration and operation of the Centre and provide PA support to the Director.
