Code Kids is the UK’s leading provider of technology and creative design courses for children aged 5 to 13. We run holiday workshops across Kent, with a mission to provide world-class, affordable technology education. No prior coding or robotics experience? No problem! We’ll provide comprehensive training so you can confidently lead engaging and fun sessions. All we ask is enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a passion for education. You will work as part of a supportive team alongside other Educators and Camp Leaders.
Duties and responsibilities
As a Technology Educator, you will: ï‚·
- Lead interactive coding and robotics sessions for children. Deliver high-energy, engaging sessions in coding, robotics, and creative technology.
- Work alongside other educators to deliver engaging learning experiences. Create an inspiring learning environment.
- Build confidence in managing a classroom while ensuring a fun, safe environment. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
Skills and experience
- University students or PGCE trainees with an interest in education
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enthusiasm for working with children and a willingness to learn
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare (Enhanced DBS required – we can arrange this).
