Role
Unitemps is is looking for passionate current international students to join the International Office at the University of Salford as International Student Ambassadors. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your experiences, support new students, and develop valuable skills while working around your studies.
We are especially looking for students from Nepal, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Germany, Cyprus, Greece, and Norway to help expand the International Offices global engagement.
Duties and responsibilities
- Act as a representative of the University, engaging with prospective and new students via calls, emails, social media, and events
- Support the marketing team by assisting with social media content creation and student takeovers
- Help organize and participate in campus tours, student events, and open days
- Provide support, advice, and guidance to new international students adjusting to life at Salford
- Work collaboratively with the International Office team to promote a welcoming student experience
Skills and experience
- Current international student at the University of Salford
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Passion for helping others and sharing student experiences
- Knowledge of social media platforms and basic content creation is desirable
- Confident, proactive, and comfortable engaging with people from diverse backgrounds
- A portfolio or example of previous content creation work (please send this to o.fakunle@salford.ac.uk after you have submitted your application)

- Any timesheets submitted and approved in time for the payroll deadline will be paid into your bank account on the last working day of the month.
