Description
Role
Our client, a popular local solicitors are looking for someone to take on a hybrid role which will include some time on reception (around 20%). Assisting the Private Client department at a secretarial to paralegal level (around 75%) and supporting the wider firm with administrative requirements (around 5%).
Duties and responsibilities
Supporting the reception team
- Ensuring the reception area is kept in good order.
- Managing the reception telephone line.
- Supporting clients who walk in with queries.
- Providing assistance to fee earners as required during client meetings i.e. witnessing documents, copying paperwork.
- Adhering to the requirements of the Reception handbook
Legal assistant to Private Client team
- Supporting the phone lines into the private client team.
- Assisting fee earners with dictation and tasked matters as presented
Administrative duties
- As required based on the business needs at that time
Skills and experience
- Experience in a customer facing role, preferably in a professional setting and to include telephone support.
- Organisation, self motivation and ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
- Confidence and ability to build a rapport with clients.
- Some legal knowledge or previous experience would be valuable.

Additional information
Although a Full Time role client would consider fixed more part time hours. Must be able to commute to Biddulph as this is an office based role, 5 days a week.
