Role
City St George's Students’ Union are looking for Sport Activators to support the delivery and promotion of our sport offer at City St George's Tooting Campus
Duties and responsibilities
- Be an ambassador for City St George's Students’ Union Sport, (e.g GetActive, club sport and other sport events), by promoting the range of sport and physical activity opportunities available to students.
- Deliver sport ‘activations’ on campus including stalls, sporting activities and lecture shout-outs
- Develop meaningful, engaging and student focused content for our social media channels (e.g Twitter, Facebook and Instagram), website and newsletter
- Deliver a range of pre-agreed social sport activities including setting up the event, packing down and recording attendance.
- Ensure sporting activities and events are delivered safely as per a pre agreed risk assessment.
- Provide administrative support for the Union’s delivery of sport including typing up feedback forms and emailing event attendees.
Skills and experience
- Enthusiasm for building community and improving physical and mental wellbeing through sport
- Ability to create engaging social media content on multiple platforms (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, Twitter)
- Ability to provide administrative support
- Excellent customer services and listening skills in-person, via email and over the phone
- Punctual, proactive, and reliable.
- A positive can-do approach to work
- Commitment to equity and sustainability.
