Role
We are looking to recruit a student researcher to support the following project:
All we have is each other: peer learning and support practices, systems, and opportunities at the University of Warwick
This project aims to explore, define, and systematically enhance the range of peer support that exists across the University of Warwick in and beyond the classroom. We are interested in the support offered to students by students, this may be through a buddy scheme, family system or a more informal role. This project will allow us to better understand the scope of support available to students, the difference between the types of support and how they are monitored and managed.
In this role, you will assist with surveying departments across Warwick University and other Higher Education Institutions to identify opportunities students have to access peer support, both formal and informal (e.g. family schemes, buddy schemes or mentoring). You will explore any existing peer support, the different forms it takes and the challenges it may present.
Your work will be used to inform the design of peer led student workshops exploring the requirements of students surrounding peer support.
This role is open to students at all levels. Applicants must be a current Warwick student.
