Role
Unitemps are recruiting for a Teaching & Learning Administrator within the Electronic & Electrical Engineering department. The role is to work the date of ASAP and will run until 30th June 2025 full time at 36.5 hours per week . Payment is set at £18.88+ holiday pay per hour and the role will be HYBRID based.
Duties and responsibilities
Acting as a point of contact for both staff and students, the role will support the department in the professional planning, effective delivery and evaluation of programmes within the student lifecycle. The role will also proactively support an inclusive, caring and supportive student experience.
- Provide specialist administration to the designated teaching programmes, ensuring effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects of its administration
- Assist in achieving a high quality and timely service to current/prospective students and staff related to the designated courses/programmes and beyond.
- Provide support for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students from enquiry to completion, incorporating supporting committees and processes relating to assessment, student and course records.
Skills and experience
- Experience of administration work in a busy office environment is essential
- Experience of administration in a teaching and learning environment is desirable
- Candidates should be computer literate, including Word, Excel, Outlook, email and internet
- Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential
- We are looking for candidates who have a commitment to high quality, accurate service provision as well as good interpersonal skills.
