Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic current University of Leicester students who have (ideally) lived in university-managed accommodation to take part in our upcoming accommodation video and photo shoot. This content will be used to showcase student life, accommodation and the experience of living in Leicester to prospective students.

This is a fantastic opportunity to represent student life, gain on-camera experience, and contribute to key university marketing materials.

Filming and photography will take place between 7 and 9 April, so you must be free for all or part of these dates.

Duties and responsibilities
•    Support the main shoot: Participate in scenes that highlight student life and living in university-managed accommodation.

•    Be an extra: Appear in background shots for video b-roll and still photography, helping to create engaging, real-life visuals. 
 
•    On-camera Q&A: Share your personal experience of living in university-managed accommodation and the city, in an informal interview format.

Skills and experience
•    You must be a current University of Leicester student. 

•    Ideally you will have lived in university-managed accommodation (at The Village and/or The City).
 
•    Comfortable speaking on camera. No previous experience is necessary. 
 
•    Happy to be part of individual and group shots, and staged scenes.
 
•    Available for filming sessions on one or more of the following dates: 7, 8 or 9 April 2025.
