Role
We’re The WayFinders Group, a small but mighty change management consultancy aiming to make a big impact—one leader, one organisation at a time. Our mission is to serve by helping leaders make better decisions using a “ministry of joined-up thinking” approach. We focus on identifying the root of the operational challenges leaders face, asking the right questions to unlock new ways forward, and tapping into the existing skills of the teams around the table. Our work is about empowering leaders to resolve conflict earlier, bringing their people along on the journey, and offering empathy and creativity to address the complex challenges they face.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Social media strategy
- Research the latest trends in leadership, change management, and conflict resolution to understand the landscape
- Gather insights into our client’s needs (fear, shame, blame), preferences (ease and avoidance of difficult conversations), and pain points (overwhelm, frustration, inertia, resignation)
- Study competitors to identify opportunities for differentiation and potential partnerships (a key aim is to procure paid invitations to speak on matters relating to the work of The WayFinders Group)
2. Content creation and development
- Develop creative social media campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
- Create eye-catching graphics, videos, and stories that resonate with prospective clients and grow engagement with the WayFinders brand
- Repurpose existing content with appropriate hooks to increase engagement and trending across social media platforms
- Drive new business opportunities by engaging with our growing audience by responding to comments, running Q&As, and initiating conversations
- Writing the quarterly newsletter or figuring out the best way to engage with prospective clients
3. Trendspotting and analytics
- Monitor social media and email campaign performance. Track engagement rates and website traffic.
- Use analytics tools (we have HeyOrca) to monitor audience engagement and behavior, refining strategies accordingly.
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends in social media, podcasting, and digital culture.
- Track, report, and optimise marketing campaigns to increase brand association.
4. Capturing long term strategic insights
- Prepare and present a comprehensive report to the team, including marketing achievements, challenges, insights, and recommendations for future marketing strategies.
- Outline a plan for continued growth based on the work completed, and suggest areas that will increase inbound revenue.
