Conquer Life CIC is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people to overcome challenges and achieve their potential. Through innovative programs such as VIBE Youth Services, we create opportunities young people to develop their personal and social skills. Marketing plays a vital role in sharing our story, engaging with our community, and raising awareness of the transformative work we do. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will work closely with our team to amplify our impact by developing and implementing creative social media strategies. You’ll gain hands-on experience managing digital platforms, creating engaging content, and analysing campaign performance, all while contributing to a mission-driven organisation that’s making a real difference in young people’s lives. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a final-year marketing student to apply their skills, develop new ones, and play an essential role in driving our outreach efforts.

Duties and responsibilities
Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

 
Social Media Management - Plan, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

Content Creation - Design eye-catching graphics, videos, and other multimedia content to highlight our programs and events. Write compelling copy for posts, blogs, and newsletters to communicate our mission and achievements effectively.

Analytics and Reporting - Monitor and analyse social media performance using analytics tools. 
 
Prepare reports on engagement, reach, and campaign success, identifying opportunities for improvement. 
 
Campaign Development - Assist in developing digital campaigns to promote events, services, and fundraising initiatives. 
 
Research and incorporate current social media trends and best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness. 
 
Brand Awareness and Growth - Help maintain a consistent tone and brand identity across all digital platforms. 
 
Support the development of strategies to increase follower growth and reach new audiences. 
 
Collaboration - Work with youth workers, service users and volunteers to gather inspiring stories and content from our programs. 
 
Contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives.

Skills and experience
Person Specification: Skills:
1. Ability to create engaging social media content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling copy and interact effectively with online communities.
3. Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok etc.)
4. Good organisation and time-management skills
5. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
6. Passionate about making a difference
