Role

We are seeking a Postdoctoral researcher to work on a three-month, rapid scoping review of Research Culture strategies, policies and interventions. The review will inform multiple strands of work within the University of Warwick and the National Centre for Research Culture (NCRC).

This assignment will run from (asap) for 12 weeks, and will report to Prof Kirstie Haywood, Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor (Research Culture) and Director of the NCRC.

Duties and responsibilities

You will undertake a rapid scoping review of the current landscape in Research Culture within the UK and internationally. The aim of the review will be:

To review and synthesise the institutional/organisational published research culture strategies, proposed priorities and evaluative approaches.

You will develop the evidence dataset and synthesis write-up for publication. Evidence may include published articles, however there will also be grey literature such as reports, policy documents and research culture strategies on institutional or organisational webpages.

Skills and experience

Essential Skills

  • Postdoctoral researcher from any field/discipline, with experience of scoping reviews.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilise data effectively.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and platforms.
  • Interest in research culture as concept.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience / existing knowledge of research culture challenges and work is beneficial.
