Role
Research Assistant to support the Women Research Network in the University.The RA will work on a project that aims to provide a review of strategies and initiatives to support women researchers in HE institutions, focusing on post-92 Universities, and identify best practices.

Duties and responsibilities
• Review literature on gender equity in academic research and on HE women researchers’ support

• Collect data/information about how HE institutions support women researchers
• Analyse collected data to identify trends and best practice• Draft report of findings

Skills and experience
Person specification:- good writing and communication skills- excellent organisation skills- understanding of UK HE landscape- ability to work in a team- knowledge of research environment strategies in HE institutions is an advantage
