Role
We are looking for a production operative to join an equestrian business based in Kingston, Kent.
This is a role with lots of variety and the candidate will be doing different things throughout the day and be responsible for organising their day and priorities.
Duties and responsibilities
- Make up the air bags that go inside the saddle panels involving inspection, threading and gluing a plastic pipe into a pre moulded PVC shape and then testing under water to ensure water tight
- Inserting the made air bag into a material (cordura) pocket
- Inserting the pocketed airbag into the leather panel that goes onto the bottom of the saddle before fitting and bolting the panel to the saddle
- On some saddle models they will actually fully assemble all the parts that make the saddle whilst QA’ing the actual parts to ensure they are of the highest quality
- Assemble plastic parts to make saddle gauges – a product unique to us
- They will take metal blanks and bend into a variety of shapes using a hand tool designed specifically to do this.
Skills and experience
- You will need to be hands on and enjoy making and putting things together.
- You will need to be strong to assemble saddles together but also nimble as parts will be small but also fiddly.

Lovely rural location, but requires transport to get to.
Full training will be given as the candidates will not have had previous experience
