Role

The Rivermead Inclusive Trust are hosting a recruitment Fayre with opportunities for teachers, teaching assistants, site staff, administrative, office staff, and therapists. 

The fayre will be held on:- 

  • Wednesday 5th March 6-8pm- 
  • Saturday 8th March 10am-1pm
The address is: 
  • The Academy of Woodlands, Gillingham, ME7 2DU. Kent 

*parking is available at Treetops Cafe*

Duties and responsibilities
Rivermead Inclusive Trust are hiring for early career teachers and student teachers welcome for both primary and secondary schools and for mainstream and SEND provision.

 
The schools in this trust are based in Medway. Schools included in the Rivermead Inclusive Trust are:
  • Walderslade Primary School - One form primary school in Walderslade, Chatham
  • Luton Primary School - Three form primary in Luton, Chatham
  • Academy of Woodlands - Three form primary school in Gillingham
  • Hoo St Werburgh Primary - Two form primary school in Hoo 
  • The Marlborough - Primary SEN provision for pupils with ASD in Hoo
  • Rivermead Secondary - Special Secondary for pupils with ASD in Gillingham Medway 

Skills and experience

In 2015, Rivermead Community School embarked on a journey to create a Multi Academy Trust (MAT), know as the Rivermead Inclusive Trust.

The idea behind forming a MAT was to allow us to build on our existing partnerships, work collaboratively and support schools to improve achievement, efficiency and the overall well being of our learners, staff and wider communities.

Additional information

Pay for roles with Rivermead Inclusive Trust will be dependant on experience and on the MPS (main pay scale) or UPS (upper pay scale) on the teacher pay structure.
