Description
Role
The role will focus on supporting staff in creating multimedia content in the Media and Innovation Learning Lab (MILL).
Please note that this role is NOT suitable for current students. We welcome applications from recent graduates.
Duties and responsibilities
- The Assistant Educational Technologist (Multimedia) will work with the Educational Video and Multimedia Specialist to maintain and manage MILL facilities and multimedia equipment.
- The post-holder will write and update guidance for staff and students on how to use educational technologies.
Skills and experience
-
A-levels or equivalent experience.
-
Experience of providing technical support to users.
-
Experience of writing user-documentation.

Proven organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to plan, prioritise and manage varied and fast paced flows of work.

Competent user of multimedia creation and editing software.

Advanced Office365 skills including Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Excel and an aptitude for working with new systems and processes.

Proven interpersonal/communication skills to advise and help staff.

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a flexible team
Location
LEaD office in B315; potential to be hybrid but not guaranteed
