The roles will be an integral part of the project team, working closely with 10 staff members and 3 student members to support research, data analysis, and collaboration efforts.

Duties and responsibilities

Each intern will work approximately 160 hours between February and July 2025 on a flexible schedule. This is equivalent to 4 weeks of full-time work (40 hours/week).

Start Dates

  • Begins around Easter 2025.

Duties

  • Work with the project team to develop data analysis pipelines using OpenAI APIs and open-source Hugging Face LLM packages.

  • Present the data analysis pipeline and results in both oral and written formats, at informal meetings and formal conferences.

Skills and experience

It is essential that you demonstrate a keen interest in Generative AI technologies and their potential impact on teaching, learning, academic support, and education policy. In addition, strong oral and written communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to present findings clearly and effectively in various formats. Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across different levels of the University will require flexibility, interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

GenAI Coding Internship

  • Operating Systems: Basic understanding of the Linux environment.
  • Desirable Knowledge: Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face packages, and Warwick’s HPC systems is a plus, but not essential.
