Role
This role is ringfenced to UOG Students and Graduates.
Research Assistant (Forensic Psychology Focus). The project will focus on an analysis and synthesis of literature relating to Rape Myth Acceptance measurement and research. The project team plan to publish this work in a number of research articles so there is an opportunity for co-authorship for the RA. This is an excellent opportunity to gain further research experience and to develop your research profile.
The role starts on 03/03/25 and will finish on 17/06/25.
Duties and responsibilities
Conduction of systematic literature review (SLR) x 2
Contribution to the written outputs from the SLRs
Skills and experience
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (essential)
- Knowledge of research methods (essential)
- Experience of conducting systematic literature reviews (desirable)
- Ability to manage work independently and time manage effectively (essential)

Additional information
The topic of focus relates to sexual violence and may be sensitive for some candidates. Candidates should consider whether the project is suitable for them to work on.
This role is suitable for current postgraduate taught (PGT) or postgraduate research (PGR) students. who are currently studying a relevant subject (Psychology, Criminology, etc.). Having completed a systematic literature review previously is preferable. This type of experience will be prioritised within the selection process.
