Role

We are looking for a Research Assistant (RA) to use Google to search for about 30-40 images and then request permission for their use in an open access monograph from the copyright holder. Also, assist with the bibliography using My Bib (https://www.mybib). 

The RA should be organised and keep good records.

Duties and responsibilities

• Attend online meetings with the authors of the publication
• Search for images to identify copyright holders and request permission
• Identify alternative images if permission is denied
• Use My Bib to assist with the bibliography
• Record steps taken, document work and organise files and documents

Skills and experience

• Excellent time management skills and initiative
• Attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience in using Google Image Search
• Experience in using My Bib
