Role
Unitemps are recruiting for a EDI Data Tool Developer and Maintainer. This is a full-time role at 36.5 hours per week. This role is for a February 3rd 2025 start date and has a projected end date of March 28th 2025. Payment is set at £21.55 per hour + holiday pay. This role will be UCL campus based working.
The Faculty of Engineering is made up of 10 Departments spread across central London and East London. The individual will work alongside the Equality Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI) Team.
We are looking for an individual to maintain and further develop an EDI data visualisation tool for the interpretation of Faculty EDI data.
The individual will be based in the main campus in central London
Duties and responsibilities
The role will involve maintaining an existing EDI data analysis tool.]
The role will also involve further development and evolution of the EDI data analysis tool.
As part of this task the individual will be involved in holding focus groups, or individual interviews as part of the process of evaluation and evolution of the tool. The role will also involve the analysis of different sets of EDI data and adding to the development of a set of computational tools for data evaluation and visualisation.
The individual will be expected to liaise with relevant Staff for the purposes of evaluating the usage and access of the tool, and may be requested to contribute to or give presentations about the EDI tool.
The individual will also be expected to liaise with relevant individuals for the purpose of updating and maintaining the evaluation and maintenance of the tool.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Experience in computational data analysis and statisticsExperience in data visualisation
- Programming experienceMaintaining confidentiality and awareness of regulations regarding secure handling of dat
- Experience of working within a team
- Knowledge of hosting platforms and supporting access for such a tool
- Experience of obtaining and using feedback in a computational tool development context.
Desirable:
- Experience of working on EDI themes
- Experience of working in an academic/research setting
- Experience of communicating findings to relevant groups.
