Role
Our prestigious client provide award winning mobile and web applications to support events around the world. As a fast-growing business, they provide stable and secure technology platforms for their customers, that they can rely on.

This role will provide training and first line technical support to customers as well as delivering on site support where required. Office based but with the requirement to travel to event venues around the UK/world as needed (potential for 2-6 days away for 10+ events a year).

This role will give you the opportunity to grow and develop within a well-structured start up business, with events in the US, South America and Europe already lined up.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Deliver and support our tracking solution on site around the world.
  • Collate and deliver key metrics to customers post event.
  • Troubleshoot queries via webchat, email and phone.
  • Provide solution(s)/work around(s) to incidents and problems.
  • Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner.
  • Train customers to ensure their user journey is a success.
  • Work to SLA thresholds for incident(s), request(s) and problem(s).
  • Prioritising and managing several open projects/cases at one time.
  • Establishing a good working relationship with other staff and customers.

Skills and experience

 

  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Time management / organisational skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Competent computer skills.
  • Working in events
  • Data processing
  • Enthusiastic, patient and motivated.
  • Good initiative.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work unsupervised but be a good team player.
  • Enthusiasm for global travel.
  • Flexible with regard to hours of work and travel.
