Role

This role is part of a curriculum enhancement project, aiming to develop and deliver a framework of study sessions that will assist students develop skills and approaches in organisation and time management and related areas, as well as an overall scaffolded support that assists students in developing their own approaches to study. The project will involve investigation into the needs and requirements of students, and the development and potential delivery of a range of sessions / workshops. The interns will work alongside and be supported by the Student Success Officers based within APS

Duties and responsibilities
Conduct an investigation into the concerns, requirements and areas for development of students, in relation to study practices and approaches. The investigation may comprise surveys. questionnaires and direct interviews with students. The interns will coordinate the research, design the survey and interview questions, as well as analysing the results.

Following investigation, and depending on the outcomes identified, the design of a number of short, interactive workshops suitable for students and addressing the concerns identified.
Administration, publicity and delivery of the designed sessions

Skills and experience

Experience or knowledge of research and questionnaire design and analysis.
Experience or knowledge of workshop design and delivery.
