Role
Our prestigious client are dedicated to preparing children for the future by igniting their passion for technology and computing. Working locations are at specific schools in Stoke on Trent, Newcastle Under Lyme and Cheshire East. Working days are Monday-Friday, between 3pm - 5pm. (The company are flexible around days worked) Working hours are between 1-10 hours per week.

 
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in education and to gain classroom experience. 
 
Progression opportunities may exist to work through the school day, covering PPA time or leading full-day workshops. 
 
UK Drivers License and own vehicle are required as you may have to bring equipment to schools, therefore having your own transport is essential. 
 
 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Planning sessions for school children
  • Interacting with children to provide guidance
  • Ensuring that all school rules, policies, and guidelines are adhered to in the classroom

Skills and experience

Your classroom management and ability to engage with children are the key skills the company are looking for. You must have experience working with children and the ability to think quickly and work independently. No formal teaching qualifications are required

  • A confident and enthusiastic computer user (but you don't need to be an IT expert)
  • An ability to engage with children and make learning fun
  • Drivers license with your own car (This is a must)
  • Someone who is able to work Monday-Friday between 3pm - 5pm
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate preferred
