Role

Our client is looking for a talented Motion Designer to join our team at Spode Works in Stoke-on-Trent, and help create stunning visual content for our clients.

As a Motion Designer, the candidate will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and animating motion graphics, visual effects, and 3D animations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and creative teams to conceptualise and storyboard creative ideas for video projects.
• Design and create 2D and 3D motion graphics, visual effects, and animations for projection mapping, anamorphic screens, immersive environments, and screen content for events.
• Create and edit videos using Adobe After Effects, Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal and Notch to create high-quality 3D animations and visual effects.
• Collaborate with other designers and animators to ensure consistency and high-quality output.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques, including AI.
• Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines

Skills and experience

• Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and at least one 3D design package.
• Strong design, composition, and typography skills.
• Experience in creating 2D and 3D motion graphics, visual effects, and animations.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Interest or knowledge in AI and generative content.
• Motivated and highly-creative.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to follow a brief and accurately interpret an approved design
