Role
Partnerships Administration perform a range of functions in support of the administration of the University's UK and International collaborative partner provision.
Much of this is focused around the processing of student data, assessment management, and enquiry management. The role will have regular contact with students, and colleagues at Partner organisations and within the University, via Teams, Teams telephony and email.
Key to the role will be the management of assessment data and the preparation for Module Assessment Boards (MABs), the use of the student records system and management of student data, and work within the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (Blackboard).
Duties and responsibilities
1) Data gathering from partners, data checks and data entry into the student records system and spreadsheets
2) Generating standard reports and documents in relation to key business processes
3) Responding to routine queries from students and staff on Partnership Administration via Teams, Teams telephony, email, and via a call management system
4) Setting up and administering Blackboard VLE sites, including Turnitin submission points
5) Taking a lead role in the planning, organisation and execution of Exam Board processes, and to attend these and contribute to the minute-taking.
Skills and experience
The postholder will be a competent user of Excel, Word, Email, and will have a GCSE Grade 4 / Level 2 functional skills in both Maths and English.
The postholder will be comfortable working with (i) repetition of task, (ii) high levels of accuracy and (iii) tight timelines.
Experience of working in a higher education and in the use of a Virtual Learning Environment (preferably Blackboard) would be advantageous.
