Role

Unitemps are acting as an Employment Business, supplying temporary workers, in relation to this vacancy.

Stratasys is a global leader in the manufacturing of 3D printers. Nottingham site is the centre for R&D of their SAF technology.

The role will involve testing polymer specimens that are manufactured using SAF technology.  This includes mechanical testing such as tensile, flexural and impact testing.  Geometric analysis using a CMM machine is also performed.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Complete mechanical, functional, visual inspection per customer (internal & external) requirements
  • Maintain detailed records of test results
  • May assist in developing methods and procedures for quality assurance and control.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Attend all required company training
  • Other Responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager

Skills and experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience within a test lab would be beneficial.
  • Basic experience of Metrology testing, eg use of Calipers, CMM & Tensile testing instruments an advantage.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Shifts and Times: 09:00-16:00
Pay Rate: £12 per hour
Holiday Pay: £1.45 per hour
Working location: Unit 7-8, William Lee Bldg, Science Park, Nottingham NG7 2RQ
Dress Code: Smart Casual
