LFC is working with LJMU and UniTemps to provide an opportunity for LJMU students to take advantage of the Discovery Internships Programme through a short-term placement within the LFC People & Culture department.

The placement will be working with the People Experience team who are based in Liverpool.  The team is responsible for People Experience across the Club, from the Clubs employer value proposition to workplace environment and culture. 

Duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct strategic research into psychological safety in the workplace and how to manage risk
  • Deep dive into the topic to help inform a proposal on how the Club manages the risk in a systemic way.
  • Research into other football Clubs / Sports Teams / League’s to build a strategic picture of how LFC’s competitors approach psychological safety in the workplace
  • Support the People Experience and H&S team to create a plan to deliver the strategic/systemic approach to managing risk arising from psychological safety in the workplace

Skills and experience

Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:

 

  • Knowledge of and interest in People Experience.
  • An educational background in Human Resources or Psychology would be desirable.
  • Computer literate and highly proficient in MS Office software, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to interpret complex information and form rational, structure proposals.
  • Can work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner.
  • Has a 'can do' approach and works to exceed expectations.
