LFC is working with LJMU and UniTemps to provide an opportunity for “Level 5” LJMU students to take advantage of the Discovery Internships Programme through a short-term placement within the LFC Partnerships department.

 

The placement will be working with the Partnerships Insights & Performance team who are based in the UK. The team is responsible for the data and intelligence that informs every aspect of the club’s Partnerships business. The focus of this group is collating data from a variety of sources, making it accessible and digestible and then – most importantly – curating compelling data stories / business cases that drive partner acquisition and retention.

 

Duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Liaise with the Partnership Insights team to prospect and build business cases for new partners.
• Source contact details for prospects.
• Build relationships with members of the Partnership team.
• Contribute creative and insight into sales presentations and proposals.
• Support on performance reporting and activation ideation for current partners

 

Key Stakeholders:

 

• Partnership Insights & Performance team
• Wider Partnerships central function team consisting of researchers, designers, and creative personnel
• Global Partnership Sales

Skills and experience

Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:

 

• Knowledge and experience presentation writing.
• Computer literate and highly proficient in MS Office software, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Dynamic and able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
• Can work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner.
• Methodical approach to work, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Has a 'can do' approach and works to exceed expectations.
• Strong levels of commercial awareness
