LFC is working with LJMU and UniTemps to provide an opportunity for Year 2 and 3 LJMU students to take advantage of the Discovery Internships Programme through a short-term placement within the LFC Product & Proposition department.

The placement will be working with the Product and Project Management team who are based in Liverpool.  The team is responsible for directing and managing the updating and building of key club Products such as the LFC App and Membership subscription.

Duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support Project Manager with Project Management tasks across two connected and concurrent projects, both of which are core to LFC’s Strategy
  • Support Product Managers with planning and delivery of technical changes within Core projects and across continuous development
  • Support Test Team with User Acceptance Testing of projects and continuous development
  • Data Analysis as needed to aid Product or Project Management decisions
  • Data Entry where required to support project delivery

Skills and experience

Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:

  • Knowledge of and interest in Product Management, Project Management
  • Knowledge of and interest in Digital Development
  • A keen eye for detail and willingness to get stuck in to data driven tasks, even when tasks can be repetitive.
  • Computer literate and highly proficient in MS Office software, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Dynamic and able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Can work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner.
  • Has a 'can do' approach and works to exceed expectations.
