At Talk Twenties, we’re a dynamic team dedicated to creating engaging, relatable content that resonates with twenty-somethings navigating adulthood. As a Video Producer Intern, you’ll be joining our content team, working closely with the Creative Director and a group of passionate professionals to help bring innovative ideas to life. You’ll assist in producing filming, and editing video content for our YouTube channel and social platforms, contributing to our mission of empowering young adults. This internship is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in digital media, storytelling, and the fast-paced world of content creation.

 

Duties and responsibilities
As a Video Producer Intern at Talk Twenties, you will play a key role in supporting the production of high-quality video content that connects with our audience of young adults. Working closely with our Creative Director and production team, your main responsibilities will include: - Assisting with video shoots, including setting up equipment, lighting, and audio to ensure professional standards. - Filming and capturing engaging content for our YouTube channel, social media platforms, and podcasts. - Editing video footage using Final Cut, CapCut or similar software to create compelling, polished content that aligns with the Talk Twenties brand. - Collaborating on creative concepts for new content formats and contributing fresh ideas for shows and social media series. - Supporting the coordination of shoot schedules, locations, and any required resources. -Assisting with post-production tasks such as color correction, sound mixing, and adding graphics. - Keeping up-to-date with current trends in digital media to help the team stay ahead in producing relevant and engaging content. This role is designed for someone passionate about digital content creation and eager to build their skills in video production. You’ll gain hands-on experience while contributing to a platform dedicated to helping young adults thrive in their twenties.

Skills and experience
We are looking for a motivated and creative individual who is eager to develop their skills in video production. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital media and storytelling, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced team environment. This role is suitable for level 5 and 6 undergraduate students studying media, film, communications, or a related field. The key qualifications and skills required are: - Basic knowledge of video production and editing: Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Experience with basic camera operation, lighting, and sound equipment is a plus. 

- Creative thinking and problem-solving: The ability to generate new ideas, think outside the box, and adapt quickly to changing production needs.
 - Strong communication and teamwork skills: You should be able to work well within a collaborative environment, take direction, and also offer your own creative input when needed. 
- Attention to detail: A keen eye for visual composition and the ability to ensure that final video products meet high standards of quality and brand consistency. 
- Time management and organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute to a fast-moving production schedule. No previous professional experience is required, but any relevant coursework, personal projects,or part-time work in content creation will be considered an advantage. Enthusiasm for content that resonates with young adultsis essential!
