LFC is working with LJMU and UniTemps to provide an opportunity for Year 2 and 3 LJMU students to take advantage of the Discovery Internships Programme through a short-term placement within the LFC Stadium Operations department.

 

The placement will be working with the Workforce Planning and Staffing team who are based in Anfield Stadium, Liverpool.  The team is responsible for onboarding and deploying casual resource across the Club supporting in the resource plans and delivery for Match Days, Events, Retail and Distribution.

Duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Extract and analyse workforce planning data, highlighting trends.
  • Shape and build clear and concise workforce planning analytics presentations through the development of dashboards for each operational area.
  • Deliver excellence in data storytelling.
  • Support in the ongoing review of Systems and future technology roadmap development.
  • Contribute to the wider development of a data-driven culture across the Workforce Planning and Operations department.

Skills and experience

Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:

 

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis with the ability to decipher data and present this in a concise way.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to create, maintain and interrogate large data sets.
  • Knowledge of and interest in resource planning and analysis of workforce data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Structured and organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner.
