Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene predominantly at the Sunbury site, you will clean here for several hours a day otherwise there’s a couple of other sites across the Surrey area you will visit and clean on a smaller scale., ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all occupants. This role is essential in upholding our high standards of cleanliness and will involve a variety of cleaning tasks and the supervision of 2 Cleaners.

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, and communal areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure they are free from dirt and debris.
• Dust surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to maintain a tidy appearance.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure clarity and shine.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly as per guidelines.
• Supervise 2 cleaners

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting or moving items.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
