We are a logistics company offering warehousing and transport services to over 130 customers of various sizes. we are currently working on an automation project to test vertical warehouse systems in our workplace and would like you to research other applications for new technology in our business.

 

Duties and responsibilities
The role will look at our existing operations and discover new innovation that could compliment our business. Open access to our systems, management team and existing suppliers will be provided. Whilst we expect to find efficiencies from the research we are not solely focused on saving costs and will consider options that make our business more marketable and/or improve sustainability.

Skills and experience
Good communication skills - Must be personable and able to engage with our staff productively. Observational and Problem solving skills - It would help to have some basic knowledge of supply chain logistics. Cost benefit analysis - Provide an objective viewpoint considering efficiency, sustainability and the workplace environment. Self motivation - some research could be done remotely.
