Role
At Warwick, we are committed to a student experience which has inclusion at the heart. As part of our Inclusive Education approach, we are looking to recruit a team of current students to support a range of student experience and inclusion-related projects. This position is open to all Warwick students, and we particularly encourage students with lived experience to apply.

Projects will be confirmed with successful candidates once in post. As a guide, you may be involved in some of the following:
Personal Tutoring Review
Developing student-facing information about personal tutoring and resources to help Personal Tutors to effectively support diverse student groups. In the past, these have included mature, international, and Postgraduate students. This project will involve consultation with staff and students to create online content, guidance, toolkits and/or training sessions.
Academic Skills Support
The University is currently developing academic skills provision to support students during their time here. You will support this project by creating, reviewing, and piloting guidance, written articles, videos, and other resources.
Inclusive Teaching and Learning Guidance
Working with colleagues across the University, you will help to develop staff guidance and resources on inclusive learning and teaching practice.
Conference and Event Support
You will help to co-ordinate the Warwick Inclusion Conference and Faculty Inclusive Education events. This may involve supporting with marketing and communications, producing and collating event resources, and monitoring attendance.
Ad-Hoc Project Support
You will offer support to a variety of inclusion projects being developed across the University, which may involve developing resources, measuring success, helping raise awareness, and communicating findings to the University community. Last year, projects included an international student awarding gap research project and reviewing the accessibility of Warwick Sport. Successful candidates will learn more about opportunities available this year once in post.
Duties and responsibilities
- Informed by their personal experience at Warwick, post holders will provide insight, advice, and expertise to project work.
- Provide administrative and project support, including developing resources and organising events.
- Develop, review and co-create content to support staff and students to become more inclusive.
- Participate in research and activities that help to develop sense of belonging and inclusion for students in the University community.
- Share work with students across the University, including through societies and student networks.
Skills and experience
- Project planning skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft programmes, including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook, or the ability to learn new technologies quickly, e.g., web editing software
- Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills
- Punctuality and ability to work to deadlines
- Demonstrable organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- An interest in creating a positive campus experience for all students and the ability to work with diverse student groups

A combination of home and on campus working at University of Warwick, Coventry, UK
