Role
Are you a recent medicine graduate taking a break before commencing your foundation training? We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive student eager to make a difference.
This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enhancing the student journey within the School of Medicine. You will collaborate with the Education Centre teams and our Trusts, contributing to key student engagement initiatives and projects while playing a role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive student community.
Start Date: 16th December 2024
End Date: 1st December 2025
Working Hours: 29 hours a week - To be arranged by the hiring manager with the candidate
Pay Rate: £15.56 per hour
Holiday Pay: £1.88 per hour
Location: School of Medicine, Education Centre with some flexibility to work from home.
Interview Date: Informal interview W/C 2nd DecemberDress Code: Smart casual
Duties and responsibilities
- Support the delivery and development of student engagement initiatives and activities
- Assist with the collation and analysis of student feedback to identify areas for improvement in the student journey.
- Run focus groups engaging our student body as appropriate.
- Collaborate with various professional teams to ensure smooth communication and implementation of agreed projects across the School of Medicine.
Skills and experience
- A recent medicine graduate.
- Excellent communication in interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students.
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to supporting projects and tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
