Role
Represent your Undergraduate course of study and the University in delivering high-quality physical and virtual student recruitment events such as open days, mini-open days, virtual events recordings, virtual events support and offer-holder events held on the campuses and online.
Start Date: January 2025
End Date: October 2025
Working Hours:  Example dates are listed below. Please be aware that these may be your possible working dates and they may differ according to faculty, more dates will also be added throughout the cycle.
- Saturday 15th March
- Saturday 5th April
- Wednesday 16th April
- Thursday 17th April (Medicine only)
- Wednesday 23rd April
- Saturday 26th April

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Holiday Pay Rate: £1.38 per hour
Location: Various on-campus and virtual (University Park, Jubilee, Sutton Bonington campuses, Kings Meadow Campus and Castle Meadow Campus)
Dress Code: Smart casual
Duties and responsibilities
- Representing your course of study, giving in depth knowledge of your current modules and experience, engaging with visitors, and sharing knowledge about the university, accommodation, sport, societies, SU and other facilities at the campuses
- Providing further information about student life
- Assisting with setting up and packing down venues for in person events, providing appropriate advice and directions in relation to the location of schools, rooms and buildings across campuses and delivering tours of campuses and departments
- Complying with university policies and legal requirements to ensure that all information provided is fully accurate
- Maintaining safety and wellbeing of visitors by adhering to university policies and procedures
- Please be aware this role is only open to current undergraduate students at the University of Nottingham
Skills and experience
- A current undergraduate student at the University of Nottingham. Or studied an undergraduate course at the University of Nottingham within the last year.
- Knowledge of your course of study including current available modules and experiences
- Knowledge of the University and city
- Excellent communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage time effectively
