Morpheus VR is a ground-breaking project that integrates Virtual Reality into care for educational, therapeutic, and training purposes. This immersive platform offers care staff and children a unique way to engage with therapy and learning tools in a more dynamic, interactive environment. Interns will play an integral role in developing this project, refining VR applications, andexploring new ways to leverage this technology for the benefit of the care industry.
Duties and responsibilities
Collaborate on the development of VR applications using Unity 3D (Version 2020.3.33f1). Assist in implementing multiplayer, video chat, and interactive content using plugins such as Photon, Agora, and Vuplex. Design and test features related to education, training, and therapy to ensure functionality and user-friendliness on both PC and Oculus platforms. Contribute to the creation of web platforms using HTML/CSS, and backend development with Node.js and MongoDB. Innovate and enhance the user experience, ensuring the platform is engaging, educational, and effective for its intended purpose.
Skills and experience
Proficiency in Unity 3D and C# for VR development. Understanding of HTML/CSS and Node.js for web platform development. Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity, particularly in VR or interactive design. Passion for exploring how technology can improve education and therapy within care settings. Interest or experience in multiplayer features, video integration, or avatar-based experiences.
