Role

Applications are invited for Student Podcast Presenter

We are looking to employ 2 students to work closely with the Student Experience and Digital Learning Teams, to host engaging podcast episodes covering a variety of medicine related topics.

Start Date: 02/12/2024

End Date: 12/05/2025

Working Hours: 20 hours over the project period

Pay: £12.00 per hour plus £1.45 holiday pay

Location: Hybrid working -School of Medicine and from home

Dress Code: not applicable

Duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Host and Present Podcasts
  • Content Development
  • Recording and Editing
  • Team Collaboration

Skills and experience

  • Qualifications: Current undergraduate BMedSci/BMBS/Graduate entry to medicine student
  • Enthusiasm for Media: Passionate about podcasting, journalism, or student life. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and the ability to engage an audience

Location
Hybrid working - School of Medicine and from home
