Role
Unitemps are supporting our University of Staffordshire London campus with an upcoming Esports Research Network Conference being held in our state of the art facilities. We are looking for candidates who will assist in managing the Esports Research Network Conference. Your responsibilities will include guiding guests from institutions worldwide around Staffordshire University's London campus and supporting the event's broadcast. Additionally, you will lead smaller, independent broadcasts in various rooms with minimal supervision.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be supporting with:
• Collaborate with event coordinators and technical teams to ensure all event logistics are in place.
• Act as a runner to support various event departments as needed.
• Assist the broadcast team with setting up cameras, microphones, and other equipment required for live or pre-recorded broadcasts.
• Monitor and troubleshoot audio, video, and streaming equipment during live events, ensuring a high-quality broadcast.
• Support the management of live streams
• Report any technical issues to the Broadcast Director or Event Manager in a timely manner.
• Assist presenters, speakers, or performers with technical requirements, ensuring microphones, screens, and other AV elements are functioning properly.
• Respond quickly to any technical or logistical issues during events.
Skills and experience
You will need to have:
• Understanding of streaming and broadcast equipment
• Confident using broadcast software such as OBS
• Be flexible and adaptable to a hectic environment
