Role
We are looking to appoint an Administrator to support our commercial activities. We require a highly organised, patient and motivated administrator to work on a finite project.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the completion of administrative tasks, in line with university policies and regulations, in relation to commercial projects. The tasks are to include as a minimum, raising purchase orders, supporting meetings, liaising with stakeholders, bulk data entry and document upload on Oasis online portal and bulk electronic filing.
The ideal candidate will be up for a challenge, have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to see a task through to the end.
- You will be responsible for raising project-based orders to external suppliers
- Bulk data entry and document upload on Oasis online system, reporting details of completed commercial and community archaeological projects
- Bulk electronic filing of paperwork relating to commercial and community archaeological projects
- Responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding deposition of archaeological finds. Managing the communication of information in a professional manner to individuals, both internally and externally, with the emphasis mainly on external companies
- Service all relevant Archaeology meetings, including the preparation of agendas, minuting of meetings, and following through of appropriate actions
- General administrative support to the Commercial Services Administrator

Qualifications - Should have:
A good standard of general education, normally to include English and Maths to GCSE (or equivalent) level at Grade C and above – E
