Description

Role

We are currently recruiting for 4 new Assistant Editors to join the editorial board of Reinvention: an International Journal of Undergraduate Research, from November 2024 until October 2025.

The journal is published by the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) at the University of Warwick.

We welcome applications from all undergraduate students at Warwick who are not currently in their final year and who are currently residing in the UK, and who will be in the UK during the next academic year.

An overview of the journal:

Reinvention journal is an online, open access peer-reviewed journal, dedicated to the publication of high-quality undergraduate student research, published bi-annually, in April and October with occasional special issues.

The journal welcomes papers written by student researchers independently or collaboratively with academics, the papers can be from any discipline and from any university around the world. On submission all papers undergo rigorous academic peer-review, based on initial editor screening and if accepted to the next stage papers are reviewed by two or three anonymous referees. The editorial team supported the author throughout the process.

If you are interested in adding marketing and communications to your responsibilities, please indicate this in your cover letter.

These roles provide excellent experience of working on a journal publication, we are interested in receiving applications from students who are at the University of Warwick, studying any subject, particularly from those who are interested in publishing and passionate about diversifying the field of academic research, bringing new ideas to the table, as well as supporting peers in feeling confident about their work and creating an inclusive space for undergraduate researchers. Reinvention fosters an inclusive community, where differences of culture and identity are celebrated, welcomed and respected.
