Description
Role
The University of Nottingham works in partnership with Nottingham Trent University to provide university students the opportunity to work with young people in local schools, through the Students in Classrooms scheme. This programme is a 10-week paid placement where students work up to 7 hours per week.
Successful applicants are also required to attend two, compulsory, full-day training sessions for their scheme as follows:
Training 1:
Everyone must attend one day at the start of November, either Saturday 9th November (approximately 10am - 2pm) or Wednesday 13th November (approximately 1-5pm) .
Training 2:
Everyone must attend one day at the end of November, exact dates to be confirmed.
Due to the nature of these roles, you will be required to undertake a DBS check and provide references to ascertain your suitability to work with children. You will also be required to register with your university's branch of Unitemps
