THE ROLE

On behalf of our Leicester Client, we are seeking to recruit a English Tutor. We are looking for a hard-working candidate who can assist with tutoring English at GCSE Level, and to work part time. The role is to work Wednesday and Thursdays offering online lessons at: 18:40pm - 20:00pm. We are looking for a candidate who is studying a degree specialism within the disciplines of english and has had tutoring experience beforehand, but not essential. You will be required to work with a maximum of 12 children at a time in group tutoring and have proficient ability to effectively teach and explain complex concepts up to GCSE.

Directly Report to the Centre Lead Tutor: Fostering open and nurturing communication in weekly catchups for driving sustainable growth with compassion and accountability.

The Tutoring Side:

Teaching: Tailoring your teaching approach to each child's unique needs, guiding them to consistent progress and a love for learning in English. 

Inspiring: Building strong relationships and inspiring children to become fearless learners, fostering confidence and curiosity.

Monitoring Progress: Checking online reports and utilizing educational technology to track real progress and outcomes.

Parent Communication: Keeping parents informed about their child's progress and well-being.
