Role

Applications are invited for Careers Ambassador - PGR Website

To review the content of the Careers and Employability Service Postgraduate Researcher website alongside colleagues and to create revised content. This is about bringing the student voice to our website. The website address is: https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/careers/postgraduate-researchers/index.aspx

The successful candidate will review the content of the Careers website as directed by the Information and Communications Manager.

Start Date:12/08/2024

End Date:31/07/2025

Working Hours: 3.5 hours per week

Location:  University of Nottingham/wfh

Dress Code: smart casual

Duties and responsibilities

To review the content of the Careers website as directed by the Information and Communications Manager using a pro-forma

To discuss the review with the Information and Communications Manager and other Careers colleagues

To amend the content of the page using Contensis, the university's content management system following those discussions

The Information and Communications Manager will approve all content that is edited in CMS

Skills and experience

·       Must be a postgraduate researcher

·       Knowledge of good website design

·       Ability to create engaging copy relevant to the target audience

·       Excellent standard of English

·       Ability to work in a team with staff within the Information and Communications Team and other colleagues in the Careers team

·       Ability to manage your time and meet agreed deadlines

·       Ability to work independently and remotely

·       Previous experience of using a web content management system would be helpful but not essential as training will be given

Location
Univeristy of Nottingham and opportunity to work from home
