Description
Role
To invigilate for timed test to ensure compliance with, and application of, the University of Warwick regulations for students taking assessments under examination conditions and to provide the best possible environment for all students taking these assessments. The aim is to maintain the integrity of our assessments and ensure a consistent experience for all students sitting.
Duties and responsibilities
The invigilator will be responsible for
- Setting out the room(s) as directed;
- assisting students entering the test room;
- recording student attendance;
- responding to student queries and requests in the session;
- remaining vigilant for suspicious behaviour and attempts to cheat and reporting any concerns;
- overseeing any toilet breaks or rest breaks for those with appropriate reasonable adjustments.
Invigilators will be expected to attend a training with the department to ensuring that they have all the relevant information for the sessions.
